Cookie Notice

Last updated: 12 July 2026

The short version

We use a couple of cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site — mainly to keep you signed in — which don’t need your consent. Everything else (just basic analytics — page views, rough time on page, device type) only runs if you say yes to it in the cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.

Strictly necessary — always on

next-auth.session-tokenKeeps you signed in to your organizer or door-scanner account. Expires when your session ends.
dev_sessionSite-operator authentication for the internal ops portal. Not set for ordinary visitors.
cookie_consentRemembers your choice from the cookie banner, so we don’t ask again every visit.

Analytics — only with your consent

ss_session_idA random ID stored in your browser’s session storage (not a cookie, but covered by the same consent rules) so we can tell that a few page views in a row were the same visit. It doesn’t identify you personally, and it clears when you close the tab.

With this we record: which page you viewed, roughly how long you stayed, a coarse device type (mobile/tablet/desktop) worked out from your browser, and which page referred you. We do not record your IP address, and this is never linked to your name, email, or account.

Third parties

We don’t use any third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Payment happens on Stripe’s own pages, which is subject to Stripe’s own cookie and privacy practices, outside our control.

Changing your mind

Use the “Manage cookie preferences” button above at any time, or clear your browser’s site data for stubservant.com to reset everything, including the strictly necessary ones (you’ll just need to sign in again).
